
The first pull in a summoning session costs 5 orbs, the second through fourth 4 orbs, and the last one 3 orbs for a total of 20 orbs to pull five heroes: if a 5 star hero is not pulled after five summons, the odds of five stars increase by a total of. Units in this pool were not made available at lower rarities and were released prior to September of 2018. These units will have a special background when summoned and will immediately promote to 5 stars: this will not count as a 5 star summon for purposes of "pity rate" (see below). 4 star units appear with 58% odds, non-featured or “off-focus” 5 star heroes appear by default 3% of the time, and the same rate is true for the featured 5 star heroes.Īs of version 5.2 (February 2021), the rules now include a "4 Star Special" at 3%, with the 4* rate reduced by the same percentage. In most modes, teams are limited to four units at a time, but there are a few that allow for more.Īlthough there are multiple free heroes available in the story mode, the primary method of obtaining heroes is by summoning them. Units have four movement types: infantry (two space movement, can’t cross most obstacles), armored (one space movement without help, higher stats), cavalry (three space movement normally, lower stats), and flying (two space movement, can cross obstacles, bows do double damage without help). Each character has defined statistics in HP, Attack, Speed, physical Defense, and magical Resistance: it is possible to have a “boon” in one stat and a “bane” in another that will adjust the stat by 3-4 points at the maximum level of 40. The famed weapon triangle of swords/lances/axes has been expanded to include everything from ranged physical weapons to magic to beast claws and dragon breaths, and “colorless” versions of these exist as well that are outside the triangle.
